Alexa has been a practicing and licensed Physical Therapist in Washington DC since 2003. A graduate from The George Washington University School of Physical Therapy, she has used her education to provide physical therapy services to pediatric and adult populations suffering from a myriad of injuries and disabilities.
Since 2007, Alexa has been serving the uninsured populations, refugee, and underinsured populations of Washington DC and the surrounding Metro area through a pro bono clinic she helped start and currently directs on a volunteer basis. In addition, Alexa has taught as adjunct faculty for The GWU's PT School and received the Outstanding Alumni Award For Special Contributions in the Field of Physical Therapy.
Off the clock Alexa's time is spent with her husband and two kids laughing ( and crying...), going on adventures and eating good food.
